When it comes to transforming a room, nothing quite compares to the impact of wallpaper. Today, I’m sharing my favourite places to shop for wallpaper and a little peek into how I’ve used them in my own home. So, let’s dive in!
Lulu and Georgia
Lulu and Georgia have some of the most stunning wallpaper designs out there. They offer a fantastic range of patterns that can elevate any room. However, a little tip for my fellow Canadians: Lulu and Georgia don’t ship to Canada directly. But don’t worry, I use Cross-Border Pickups to get my hands on their beautiful designs!
Here are the samples that I currently have at home:
Scalamandre Linnea Wallpaper
Dainty Leaves Wallpaper
Montreal Wallpaper (this is a top pick for our powder room)
Scalamandre Tove Wallpaper
Chasing Paper
Chasing Paper is another favourite of mine. I love that each of their wallpapers are available in a variety of textures (i.e. grasscloth). Their wallpapers are perfect for anyone looking for a blend of modern and classic styles. The peel-and-stick options make it easy to apply and remove, perfect for renters or anyone who loves to switch things up often.
Below I've listed the samples in the photo incase any catch your eye, like they did mine!
Poppy Wallpaper
Tulip Ticking Stripe
Plaid Wallpaper (this is a top pick for the kids playroom)
Seams & Bows
North & Finch
North & Finch offers unique, high-quality wallpapers that add a sophisticated touch to any space. I love their intricate designs they bring to the walls. It’s a go-to for anyone wanting something a bit different and truly special.
Here are the samples I just ordered, but now I've revisited their website again, I might have another order on the way.
Serena & Lily
When I designed Chloe’s old room, I chose Serena & Lily wallpaper for her sweet little space. Their wallpapers are timeless and add a coastal touch, which has me dreaming of our time in Florida. For Chloe’s room I used Priano Wallpaper in the colour ‘pink sand’ and I love how it added a whimsical touch to her room.
Hygge & West
For the girls’ shared bathroom in our old home, I turned to Hygge & West. Their playful and artistic patterns brought a joyful vibe to the space. It came as no surpirse that the girls were in LOVE with the mermaid wallpaper that covered their bathroom walls.
What's cool about Hygge & West, is that if wallpaper is too much of a commitment, but you love their prints, you can opt for shower curtains in the same print, which also makes quite the statement.
Cole & Son
Stella’s bedroom was adorned with Cole & Son wallpaper. Their designs are luxurious and captivating, perfect for creating a dreamy atmosphere. Since Stella's name means star, their Stars wallpaper in the Metallic Gold on Linen colour was an obvious choice.
Anewall
Jack’s bathroom mural from Anewall was one of my favourite projects. Their murals are so fun and can turn any wall into a work of art. For Jack’s bathroom we used the Vintage Ships mural which was playful, yet sophisticated.
Similar to Hygge & West, if wallpaper is too much of a commitment, their murals are available as an art print too!
York Wallcoverings - Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines
Our old office had very high ceilings, in a rather small space so I wanted something dramatic for the walls. We opted for the Watercolour Check in the colour black from the Magnolia Home collection by Joanna Gaines. The designs are warm and inviting, ideal for creating a productive yet comfortable workspace.
Exploring different wallpaper shops has been such a fun journey, each offering unique styles and patterns that have helped me personalize every room in our home. As I continue to design our new home, and explore new brands, I will add to this list so you have a thorough list to reference.
Happy decorating!
