Ready to embrace the cozy vibes of fall? Here are 5 rooms in my home to inspire you to spruce up your home for the season!
DAY 1: BEDROOM
I began by refreshing my bedding because who doesn't love a fluffy bed to jump into at the end of a long day? I LOVE sleeping on linen sheets, so I tend to keep the same set on my bed year round. Since it's neutral, it makes for the perfect backdrop to add in seasonal pillows and throws. Here I used three 20x20 pillows, two 18x18 velvet pillows and a lumbar. I also added some decor like a tray, a vase and some faux florals - these would look great on a nightstand for added texture in the space. Lastly, I also added a small antique painting that’s intentionally undersized for a unique, understated touch. I love how this space looks effortless (although it's never really effortless putting it together lol).
DAY 2: ENTRYWAY
For my entryway, I have to give all the credit to good ol' Mother Nature - look at those stems! These are from a tree in my parents yard, and I love how they look. An oversized vase with branches makes the perfect statement in this small space - the perfect juxtapostion. I kept the rest of the styling quite simple, so the pretty branches can have their moment.
DAY 3: FAMILY ROOM
I’m not really into full-blown Halloween décor, but I love to focus on fall decorations with a subtle nod to the spooky season. Hanging wicker witch hats bring both fall charm and subtle Halloween vibes without overdoing it, and they definitely scored me some brownie points with my girls, which is a huge win in my books!

DAY 4: KITCHEN
The kitchen in our rental is on the smaller side, so I choose to style the counters with functional decor, and I save all the pretty things for this little dining area. This year I’ve leaned into rich, warm tones with deep red tapered candles held in pewter candle holders - I also added velvet bows for a fun touch! To add a taste of Halloween, I’ve placed oversized wicker spiders to compliment the wicker hats in the family room nearby. Lastly, I like to keep the dining table simple, with a seasonal tablecloth, and a pretty centrepiece that can be easily moved when needed.
DAY 4: FRONT PROCH
I chose to go simple with our front porch this year. I didn't want to invest in new items, since we won't be living in this home much longer, so I reused items everything that I had, which shows that even the most simple additions can transform your porch for the season.
I hope this post inspires you to add a touch of fall to your home. If I missed any links, let me know below!
