Welcome to the sweetest room in our home, Chloe's nursery - can I even call it that anymore, now that she's 2?! When I was pregnant with Coco I had this vision that she would be a little wildflower, and she's exactly that! I wanted her room to reflect her personality, and be a space that she can grow into.

When I first stumbled upon the wallpaper we used in this space, it reminded me of Chloe - it was bright and free, with a little touch of girly. Originally I had purchased a different wallpaper for her nursery, but unfortunately we ran into issues during installation and we couldn't use it. Although it was upsetting, I think it worked out for the better. As I quickly began my search for a different wall treatment, I came across this one from Serena & Lily, and I knew it was meant to be. I love how the free flowing vines add softness, while also adding a hint of pink to the space. I also love how her custom hickory Coco sign looks against it!

When picking furniture for her nursery we tried our best to remain on a budget. We moved into our home a week before Chloe's 1st birthday and we weren't sure how long she'd remain in her crib. With that in mind, we didn't want to spend a ton on furniture that she would only use for a short period of time. We were lucky to receive this crib as a hand me down from my niece, which fits perfectly in the space! We then decided on the matching dresser since it was affordable, and there won't be much room for it once she moves to a bigger bed. At first we used the dresser as a change table, however now that she's bigger we prefer to change her on the floor, so the change pad is usually tucked under her bed for easy access.

Once the furniture was in, I had SO much fun accessorizing. The light fixture adds the perfect amount of texture (isn't it so fun?!), and I love how the rug grounds the space. The subtle touches of pink in the rug also tie in so well with all the pink accents. I continued to add texture to the nursery because although I wanted it to be bright and airy, I also wanted it to be cozy. The mobile, baskets, throw pillows (linked below) and the lamp that I DIY'd warmed up the space perfectly. The ROAR pillow is a favourite of mine, as I can hear her little voice saying "roar" every time I read it.

Similar to Stella's room, my favourite part of Coco's nursery is the built-in bench seat, which was built for us by Bloomsbury Fine Cabinetry. We chose a white linen fabric for the cushion since it's lightweight, and compliments the rest of the space. The cushion, along with her white linen roman shade, were custom made by Sun-Brite Drapery. Lastly, we didn't have much space for a book shelf in her nursery, so we added book ledges with canvas bins underneath to display some of her favourite stories. It works perfectly next to the bench seat, which is where we cuddle up at bedtime to read.

And that completes another room on our home tour series. I hope you enjoyed it! I listed all the sources below, but if I’m missing anything, please don’t hesitate to comment and let me know.

XO
