Winter is officially here, and with it comes the highly anticipated TKL Winter Box! This season, I decided to do something a little different—almost like a little DIY. While each piece can be styled on its own, I curated the box so that the majority of pieces can be used together. I love how the wreath looks accessorized with all the pretty bells and ornaments! Each item was curated with thought and care, designed to help you create a warm, welcoming space that sets the tone for the winter season. Let’s dive into what’s inside and how to style it!
Pine and Twig Wreath
Greenery has a way of bringing life to any space, and this season’s centrepiece is no exception. This Pine and Twig Wreath is the perfect way to infuse your home with holiday cheer. While traditionally hung on front doors, I encourage you to think outside the box—style it over a mirror, above your kitchen oven, framed by a doorway, or even in a window. You can also place it on your island, and set a bowl in the centre to create a pretty centrepiece, or simply "winterize" your fruit bowl.
Vintage Cow Bells
Add rustic charm to your decor with these Vintage Cow Bells, featuring a stunning rust finish that exudes character. When I chose these bells for the box, I envisioned them hanging in the centre of the wreath, however they also look great displayed on on a stack of books, placed in a decorative bowl, or hung on their own from a sconce. Whether displayed on their own or paired with the wreath, these bells are an understated nod to traditional holiday decor.
Pinecone Ornaments
These Pinecone Ornaments bring a vintage, old-world charm to your holiday decor. Their natural influence helps bring the outdoors inside, creating a cozy, rustic vibe. While I do love how they look on the wreath, they can be styled in a variety of ways. Add them to your garlands, place them in a tray or bowl with other treasured ornaments, or use them to create a winter scene in a cloche (the one from our previous TKL winter box works great!).
Beaded Snow Sprig Ornaments
With intricate pearl-like beadwork and a flexible brass frame, these Beaded Snow Sprig Ornaments are both elegant and timeless. They’re perfect for adding a subtle sparkle to your holiday styling. I love how the look placed against greenery, however don't limit yourself to your new wreath - they also look great on a Christmas tree, a garland or added to a centrepiece if you're creating a wintery tablescape.
Holiday Doormat
Subscribers were treated to one of two delightful holiday doormats, each bringing its own festive charm! One features a whimsical snowflake design, perfect for adding a touch of winter magic to your entryway. The other is inspired by the iconic Home Alone house, evoking nostalgic holiday vibes that instantly transport you to cozy movie nights and childhood memories. These doormats are not only functional but also make a statement, setting the tone for a warm and welcoming home this holiday season.
Sugar Paper 2025 Planner
While a planner doesn't necessarily spruce up your front porch, it has some similarities, which made it a great fit for the theme of this box. Your front door welcomes people into your home, and the planner helps welcome the new year ..in a very organized fashion. Not only do I love how cute this planner is, I also love its layout - I'm all about organizing this chaotic life of mine and this layout works perfectly for me, so I'm hoping you love it just as much!
Velvet Scrunchies
Every TKL box includes a signature scrunchie, and this season we’ve gone with crushed velvet in three holiday hues: black, red, and green - perfect for holiday hosting (or the clean up afterwards!).
How to Style Your Winter Box
For a cohesive look, try layering the pieces together in your entryway:
- Hang the Pine and Twig Wreath
- Attach the Vintage Cow Bells at the centre
- Place the Pinecone Ornaments evenly around the wreath
- Layer Beaded Snow Sprigs between the pinecones for a little sparkle
As a little treat, we’ve included our 2024 Winter Season Digital Downloads—a collection of frosty, winter-inspired wallpapers and art prints to adorn your devices and living spaces, adding a serene and cozy touch to your seasonal decor.
The TKL Winter Box is all about creating a warm, and inviting entryway that welcomes family and friends. I can’t wait to see how you style these pieces in your homes—don’t forget to tag us on Instagram so we can share your gorgeous setups!
